Our website and services are intended to provide outpatient psychiatric care through secure telehealth services.

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information.

  • Use our services only for lawful, personal healthcare purposes.

  • Follow treatment recommendations and instructions provided by your psychiatric provider.

  • Notify us promptly if your contact information, insurance information, or location changes.

Medical Services Disclaimer

Mariposa Integrative Psychiatry PLLC provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and mental health education through a licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Please note:

  • The information provided on this website is for educational and informational purposes only.

Telehealth Services

Mariposa Integrative Psychiatry PLLC provides secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth psychiatric services.

By participating in telehealth services, you acknowledge that:

  • Technology failures, internet interruptions, or equipment malfunctions may occasionally interfere with appointments.

  • You are responsible for participating in sessions from a private, secure location.

  • You must be physically located in Florida at the time of each appointment.

  • Telehealth services are not appropriate for emergency or crisis situations.

Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Appointments are scheduled in advance.

Patients agree to:

  • Provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

  • Understand that late cancellations and missed appointments may result in fees as outlined in the practice's Cancellation and No-Show Policy.

  • Maintain a valid payment method on file for applicable fees.

  • Understand that repeated missed appointments may result in dismissal from the practice in accordance with office policies.

Prescription Policies

Medication decisions are based on clinical judgment and applicable state and federal regulations.

Patients understand that:

  • Prescription refills generally require a scheduled follow-up appointment.

  • Controlled substances may require additional documentation, collateral information, review of the Florida Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), urine drug screening, or other monitoring as clinically appropriate.

  • Prescription requests submitted outside normal business hours may not be processed until the next business day.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt our website or services.

  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information.

  • Share your patient portal credentials with others.

  • Use our services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

Privacy

Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explain how your protected health information is collected, used, stored, and safeguarded.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Mariposa Integrative Psychiatry PLLC may utilize HIPAA-compliant artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with clinical documentation, administrative workflows, scheduling, and medical note generation.

  • Are used solely to improve efficiency and quality of patient care.

  • Do not replace the independent clinical judgment of your provider.

  • Are reviewed and approved by your provider before becoming part of your medical record.

  • Comply with applicable privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mariposa Integrative Psychiatry PLLC shall not be liable for:

  • Temporary website outages or technical failures.

  • Telehealth interruptions caused by internet service providers or third-party technology platforms.

  • Delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

  • Misuse or unauthorized use of information obtained through our website.

Nothing contained in these Terms limits any rights afforded to patients under applicable federal or Florida law.
