Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy & Supportive Care
A safe space to talk, process, and work through what you’re experiencing.
Sometimes you don’t need someone to simply tell you what to do—you need a space where you can slow down, feel heard, understand what you’re going through, and work toward meaningful change.
Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, stressors, and life experiences in a supportive and judgment-free environment.
Therapeutic Approaches
Your therapy will be personalized to your needs. Depending on what you’re experiencing and what you hope to work on, we may incorporate different evidence-based approaches.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, low mood, stress, or other difficulties and work on developing more helpful ways of thinking and responding.
CBT may include practical strategies and exercises that you can use outside of your sessions to help manage everyday challenges.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness focuses on learning to be more aware of your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and surroundings without immediately judging or reacting to them.
Mindfulness techniques may help you slow down, manage stress, become more aware of emotional triggers, and develop healthier responses when you feel overwhelmed.
This may include techniques such as:
Breathing exercises
Grounding techniques
Present-moment awareness
Body awareness
Learning to observe thoughts without automatically reacting to them
Relaxation strategies
Supportive Psychotherapy
Supportive therapy provides a space to talk openly about what you’re going through while receiving guidance, encouragement, and practical support. It can be particularly helpful during stressful periods, life transitions, or times when you feel overwhelmed or stuck.

What to Expect
1. Start Where You Are
You don’t have to have everything figured out before therapy begins. We’ll start with what feels most important to you.
2. Understand What You're Experiencing
We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences and how they may be affecting your everyday life.
3. Identify Patterns
Together, we’ll look for patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms or making certain situations more difficult.
4. Learn Practical Tools
You’ll have the opportunity to learn strategies that can help you manage anxiety, stress, emotions, thoughts, and everyday challenges.
5. Work Toward Your Goals
Your goals guide the process. Therapy will focus on the areas that matter most to you.
6. Adjust as Needed
Your needs may change over time. Your therapeutic approach can be adjusted as you make progress and encounter new challenges.
A Collaborative Approach
Therapy is a partnership. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged or pressured.
